In an exclusive interview with Matt Baggins from Two Guys Metal Reviews, metal shred guitarist, Xander Demos revealed the title and some details about the forthcoming follow up to his critically acclaimed 2012 debut, “Guitarcadia.”
Xander says, “The new album I’m working on, “Dancing Through Daggers,” has a vocalist and different band members. So a lot of the make up of the song writing is different now. Where I had 8 instrumentals and 2 vocals tunes on “Guitarcadia,” I have 7 vocal tunes and 3 instrumentals on the album that’s going to be coming out. Really big hooks and all that. The new album is sort of like a story rather than just some cool stuff thrown together. But I’ll release more info as we get closer to the release. “
Xander’s debut album, “Guitarcadia,” mixed by Firehouse frontman, CJ Snare, was initially self-released in February 2012, and it was re-released digitally in late August by German label Rock ‘N’ Growl Records. The album has received international press and airplay, with two studio performance videos, “Right Angles” and “White Knuckle Driving” each receiving in excess of 95,000 Youtube views.
