Here’s an excerpt: “On Sept. 4, country singer Doug Briney spoke via phone about his most recent album, which was released on March 9. “It really is a dream come true for me as it was something I had wanted to do for many years. Once I decided to do the album, I had a really hard time deciding what to do with it. For years I thought I would do a gospel CD but when the time came, I really felt like I should do a country CD.
