Check out this exclusive interview…

Family Wealth Moguls is more than just a record label—it’s a movement. What inspired you to create a platform that blends music, generational wealth, and social change?

My journey is deeply personal and the catalyst for creating Family Wealth Moguls. I was placed in foster care in a state far from home, abandoned by a family that never reached out to support me. As a minor, I endured profound isolation, depression, and mental anguish. Later, when I returned to Atlanta in hopes of
reconnecting with my roots, I discovered that my family still offered no genuine support unless it benefited them. The pain escalated when I became a victim of gun violence—shot at by my own blood brother in front of my children. These experiences left me yearning for a real family, one built on care, empowerment, and mutual respect rather than selfish self-interest. I realized I needed to create my own community—a movement that not only battles poverty but also uses music to shift narratives and tackle real issues with authenticity and impact.

Your mission focuses on redefining success in the industry through ownership and impact. How does Family Wealth Moguls help independent artists take control of their careers?

Family Wealth Moguls is built on the principle that every artist deserves to own their story and craft their destiny. My personal struggles—with domestic violence, homelessness, and the challenges of being overlooked—pushed me to return to school, sharpen my business acumen, and serve as a role model for
my children. I discovered my voice through public speaking, and that same determination inspired me to share my testimony through music. At our label, we provide independent artists with comprehensive mentorship, business education, and a supportive network that empowers them to control their creative
output and financial future. We guide them in authentic storytelling and building diversified revenue streams so that they can thrive on their own terms, rewriting the rules of success in an industry that too often favors conformity over true innovation and impact.

Artists & Music Impact

Your artist lineup features bold, purpose-driven musicians like Amazon Godezz, Itzluv Shawty, and The Demi Godzz. What qualities do you look for when signing artists to your label?

We seek artists who embody authenticity, resilience, and a strong sense of purpose. Beyond raw talent, we look for individuals who are committed to using their art as a platform for change—those who can connect deeply with their audience and inspire social dialogue. It’s essential for us that our artists are not
afraid to challenge the status quo and innovate within their genres while remaining true to their personal stories and values.

Music is a powerful tool for social change. How do your artists incorporate activism, empowerment, and storytelling into their music?

Our artists are storytellers who weave their personal experiences and visions for a better world into every song. They tackle issues like social injustice, community empowerment, and mental health with honesty and creativity. Through powerful lyrics and innovative beats, they spark conversations and encourage listeners to engage with the issues that matter. This commitment to activism and storytelling not only enhances their music but also helps build a community that believes in positive change.

Upcoming Projects & Industry Moves

FWM has some exciting plans for 2025, including pop-up industry mixers and a fashion magazine. Can you share more details about these initiatives and what fans can expect?

Absolutely—2025 is set to be a groundbreaking year for us. Our pop-up industry mixers will create intimate networking opportunities, connecting emerging talent with established industry professionals in dynamic, creative environments. In addition, our upcoming Family Wealth Moguls Fashion Magazine will explore the intersection of music, art, and style, featuring exclusive interviews, behind-the-scenes stories, and insights into the lifestyle of our artists. With SXSW 2026 on the horizon, how is Family Wealth Moguls preparing its artists for major industry showcases and larger platforms?

We view SXSW 2026 as a vital opportunity to spotlight our talent on a global stage. In preparation, we’re investing in intensive performance coaching, branding workshops, and strategic media engagements to ensure our artists are industry-ready. Our team is working closely with each artist to refine their stage
presence, craft compelling narratives, and secure key industry connections ahead of the event. This holistic approach guarantees that when our artists step on stage, they’re not just performing—they’re making a lasting impression.

Business & Legacy

Beyond music, FWM focuses on business strategy, branding, and touring for artists. What advice would you give independent artists looking to build a sustainable career in today’s music industry?

My advice is to build a strong foundation that goes beyond just the creative side. It’s crucial to understand the business landscape, invest in your personal brand, and develop multiple income streams. Network relentlessly, embrace new technologies, and always be open to learning. Remember that success is a
marathon, not a sprint. Focus on long-term sustainability by aligning your artistic vision with smart business strategies—this is how you create a lasting legacy.

You’ve mentioned that Family Wealth Moguls is about legacy. What impact do you hope to leave on the music industry and future generations of artists?

Our vision is to redefine success in the music industry by proving that artistic innovation can coexist with financial empowerment and social responsibility. We hope to inspire a new generation of artists to prioritize ownership, authenticity, and community impact. Ultimately, we want our legacy to be one where artists are celebrated not only for their creative contributions but also for their ability to build sustainable careers that positively transform communities and pave the way for future trailblazers.

These responses capture the ethos of Family Wealth Moguls—where music, business acumen, and social change come together to empower artists and create lasting impact.
