Dave McNaught, owner of McNaught Guitars has been quoted as saying: “My top 3 guitar players: Randy Rhoads, Paul Gilbert, and Xander Demos,…in no particular order.”
Xander Demos posted this statement on his Facebook page: “Just wanted to express my ultimate ‘thanks’ and my appreciation to David Thomas McNaught for believing in me and for creating a signature guitar for me. I am fiercely loyal to his brand, as well as Suhr, and I feel so lucky to have the support of those companies behind me. To have an instrument named after you is one of the highest honors, in my opinion, so I’m a bit overwhelmed today.”
David Thomas McNaught Guitars is a one-man shop located in Locust, North Carolina. All designs, woodworking, inlays, and paint work are done in-house by David McNaught. Other artists playing McNaught Guitars include John 5 (Rob Zombie,) John Schaffer (Iced Earth,) Neal Schon (Journey,) and Tony Rombola (Godsmack,) who also has just received a signature guitar from McNaught.
Xander Demos is a solo metal guitarist and member of the east coast chapter of Sabbath Judas Sabbath. His debut solo CD, “Guitarcadia” was mixed by Cj Snare of the band Firehouse, and it was released in February 2012. For more information, visit www.xanderdemos.com.
