Hey everyone out there in music land, it’s time for another edition of our Weekly Recap and Upcoming Appearances. We had an incredible week here at MTS Management Group. Our artists are busy recording, performing and promoting their music to the world. We’ve got some cool stuff on the not-so-far horizon…I’m very excited for the upcoming weeks. Wish I could tell you more, but in the meantime, let’s look back at last week and we’ll talk about this week’s upcoming appearances, too.
Let’s kick off this week’s recap with our resident metal shredder, Xander Demos. Xander kicked off the week with some BIG news. We learned that he will be opening for metal supergroup, Adrenaline Mob, at Altar Bar in Pittsburgh, PA on May 12th. Check the full story HERE. Tickets are available for only $18 in advance at www.steelcityguitar.com. They’re going fast, so order them today! Press releases about the event were picked up by Bravewords, Metal Shock Finland, Music News Nashville, and others. Xander was interviewed live on Rock Gator Radio on Monday, and he taped another interview on Thursday with Christy Miller of Babylon FM. We’ll keep you posted as to when that interview will air. “White Knuckle Driving,” Xander’s hot new single, is doing extremely well on worldwide radio, logging stations in Austalia, Norway, UK, Denmark, Greece, Brazil and others, including a brand new add in France. Meanwhile, Xander won a FREE month of advertising on AudioKult Radio and his ad banner is on their homepage now. Go check it out!
Doug Briney had another HUGE week, kicking it off with a spot on the weekly Homegrown Station listener’s poll. Doug’s single, “More Than Just a Farm” is going up against other artists for a spot on their NMW-reporting playlist. Doug is doing well, especially for a brand new artist, currently in 3rd place. To vote for Doug (voting ends tomorrow) visit www.homegrownstation.com. Doug’s single continued it’s climb up the CMG Radio Network chart, coming in this week at #9, while Doug himself, charted as the #33 International artist. In fact, according to Triplestrand Promotions, who is handling European promotion for Doug, “More than Just a Farm” logged a very impressive 160 stations playing it this week! In other chart news, Doug came in at #24 on the fan-voted Independent Music Network country chart, which you can support Doug with a vote right HERE. Live performances this past week included a very successful show at the Alaska Veterans Museum on Sunday. Scheduled for just a 1/2 hour performance, Doug played for an hour, by popular demand! On Friday, Doug performed to another standing room crowd at Lonestar Steakhouse in Anchorage, AK. THIS WEEK: Doug will be back again at Lonestar Steakhouse, Anchorage, on Friday at 9pm local time.
Bryan Cole and his single, “Love Doesn’t Live Here” had another great week at radio. The single picked up 3 new NMW reporting stations, as it climbed into the Top 30 (#30,) making it Bryan’s 3rd Top 30 NMW single. Press releases about this feat were published by Music News Nashville, New Music Weekly, and several others. Promotions are also continuing on the very tight Music Row Breakout Chart. “Love Doesn’t Live Here” is hanging tough at #154, but we are depending on your requests to help it get more spins. Call your local country stations and ask for Bryan Cole’s single. Other chart appearances include the CMG Radio Network (#4 country, #4 international.) “Love Doesn’t Live Here” also enjoyed airplay on nearly 170 European/Australian stations. Bryan appeared on the Jiggy Jaguar Show on Wednesday, where he was interviewed about his music and upcoming events. THIS WEEK: Bryan will be performing a solo acoustic set at Disalvo’s Station, Latrobe, PA on Friday evening.
Well, there you have it. Believe me when I tell you, that there are so many things in the works for our artists. I can’t wait to share some more of the great happenings. Stay tuned for updates as we get them in, and have a great week!
