Before Glen Templeton moved to Nashville as a hopeful singer-songwriter, he had a variety of other jobs. However, it didn’t take long for music to become his full-time line of work with a dedication to the craft that earned him the reputation of one of the best singer-songwriters to play the renowned honky tonks of Lower Broadway. “I’m not sure I chose country music, in a way it kind of chose me,” explains Templeton. In 2008, Templeton found himself involved with a major stage production when Conway Twitty’s daughters hand-picked the singer-songwriter out of 20,000 hopefuls to portray the country legend in a touring tribute musical. Ten years later, fans young and old still enjoy listening to him sing country classics as well as his own material. Templeton had great success with his hits “Ball Cap” and “Let Her Go,” and “Hip To Be Country,” is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Fans can catch Templeton on his tour, which includes multiple dates in Texas. For more information, please visit https://www.glen-templeton.com/.
