September 2, 2014 – PITTSBURGH, PA. –MTS Management Group is proud to announce country singer/songwriter, Hicks (Miqael Persson) has been nominated for a 2014 British Country Music Award for European Country Act of the Year. This is Hicks’ second consecutive nomination in that category. He won the 2013 BCMA Award. The “Hayride” singer will also perform at the ceremony, being held on Sunday, November 23, 2014 in London, UK. Hicks (Miqael Persson) is an accomplished songwriter from the south of Sweden, with multiple Gold and Platinum records to his credit. His rock-edged songs have been recorded by artists like Jimi Jamison (Survivor), Giant (Dann Huff), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Little River Band, W.E.T.
