Josey Milner Performs At Shriner’s Hospitals For Children 90th Anniversary Celebration

shriners2This past Saturday, August 23, 2014, teen country artist and former “Shrine Kid,” Josey Milner performed for an enthusiastic crowd that included past and present patients, employees, Shriners, friends and supporters of the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children, at their 90th Anniversary Celebration. Josey sang her anti-bullying anthem, “Not Pretty Enough” and her most recent chart single, “Cowgirls.” The event was held at the Shriner’s Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Josey is a former “Shrine Kid,” having had back surgery in the St. Louis Shriner’s Hospital for Children. The corrective surgery took place over Thanksgiving, when she was just 13 years old. The Ararat Shrine Temple sponsored Josey for the surgery.  Josey has performed at Shrine Circus events in the Kansas City area.

Josey Milner is a 19-year-old country singer, based in Kansas City, MO. She is an International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) Award nominee, a Nashville Universe Award nominee, and an Independent Country Music Association Award nominee.
