Americana/folk duo, Bradford Loomis & Beth Whitney were recently interviewed by top indie music site, The Indie Authority. Here is an excerpt from their conversation:
Have you ever been fed up with playing music or with band members?
Every relationship will have trials, differing opinions, and challenges of various natures. We all try very hard to be open and honest about what works for us and what we need. And furthermore, we are committed to being as considerate and gracious to each other as we possible can.
What was your first concert experience
(Bradford) Janet Jackson, oddly enough. I took my girlfriend at the time. (Beth) Jewel is an early one I will never forget.
Do you remember how you felt once the concert was over?
I was really impressed with the enormity of the stage production. It wouldn’t have been my first choice. (Beth) I remember feeling like I really really wanted to do that. Jewel was playing solo at Bumbershoot and just switched back between her two guitars and telling mountain stories. She encored by yodeling. Maybe the best concert ever.
