Super Country Cowboy, DOUG BRINEY was interviewed by Jason Saulnier for his website, Music Legends. Here is an excerpt of that conversation:
JASON SAULNIER: Where did the influences come from for the album It’s All Country?
DOUG BRINEY: I’m a member of the Independent Country Music Association (ICoMA) and while I was looking for music for that first project through the ICoMA I came across a great writer named Pat Kelley. I fell in love with his music and as a result 6 of the 10 songs on that album were written or co-written by Pat. Each of the songs chosen for that album I chose because I related to the stories told in the songs.
JS: Are you keeping busy concerts and tours?
DB: At the moment, I’ve been very busy just getting settled here in TN.. However, I am beginning to book for this fall and will be very busy with concerts and I’m planning a tour to promote my brand new project.
