TONIGHT at 8PM ET, The Southern Star Network will present its “Hurricane Sandy Relief Show.” The show, which was co-produced by MTS Management Group owner, Michael Stover, will feature many of the best independent music artists from around the world, including MTS artists, Doug Briney, Josey Milner, Amy Rose, and Xander Demos. Also appearing on the show will be Lynn Easterly, Josie Passantino, Sam and Luke, and many more. The show will be broadcast on www.southernstarnetwork.com.
“This devastation from Hurricane Sandy has really affected so many in the northeast,, and when Michael McCormack asked me to get my artists involved with this project, it was a no-brainer,” Says Michael Stover. “I sent out messages to all of my artists, and they immediately responded with ‘How can I help?’ That’s why I’m so proud to be working with each of these incredibly talented and giving people. Please tune in for the show, and give what you can to help those dealing with the devastation.”
This weekend, MTS Management Group artists, Doug Briney and Xander Demos are also involved their own charity events, on opposite sides of the country. On Saturday, Xander will be performing with one of his cover bands, Jukebox, for a Wounded Warriors Benefit in Pittsburgh, and on Sunday, Doug Briney will be doing a Veterans Day Online Benefit show for veterans charities.
